This exceptional cacao will replace our Putumayo offering, while still being available in the same convenient granulated form you know and love. This transition allows us to continue providing the highest quality ceremonial cacao while supporting the Arhuaco Tribe and their rich cultural traditions.

Who Are the Arhuaco Tribe?

The Arhuaco people are an indigenous community from Colombia, living in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, a sacred mountain range they regard as the “Heart of the World.” For centuries, the Arhuaco have cultivated cacao as a key part of their spiritual and cultural practices, viewing it as a sacred plant that fosters connection, healing, and balance.
